Non-urgent advice: Using Pharmacy First and AccuRx Triage
Please use Pharmacy First for minor illnesses and AccuRx Triage for non‑urgent health concerns and administrative requests.
This helps us to:

Thank you for working with us to help us care for you.
Minor illnesses are common, self‑limiting conditions that are usually short‑term and can be safely managed without seeing a GP. Many can be treated with advice, over‑the‑counter medicines, and support from a community pharmacist.
Examples of minor illnesses include:
| Colds, flu‑like symptoms and sore throats | Mild skin conditions (e.g. rashes, insect bites, mild eczema) |
| Coughs and blocked or runny noses | Eye infections (e.g. conjunctivitis) |
| Earache (mild) | Simple stomach upsets, diarrhoea or constipation |
| Hay fever and other mild allergies | Minor aches, pains, strains, and sprains |
| Headaches and migraines (without red‑flag symptoms) | Minor urinary symptoms (via Pharmacy First where appropriate) |
Many pharmacies are open until late and at weekends. You do not need an appointment.
Most pharmacies have a private consultation room where you can discuss issues with pharmacy staff without being overheard.
